“A friend once said, and I found to be true
That everyday people, they lie to God too
So what makes you think, that they won't lie to you”.
--- Lauryn Hill
I believe there are 2 kinds of people in your life, those who add to your life and those who take from your life. I further believe that everyone in your life is there for a reason and a purpose, whom give you both positive and negative experiences to learn from.
The most riveting thing about this theory, is the journey in which it takes us to discover the role that each person plays and the meaning of the part in which they perform.
Now, imagine these people to be your “close friends,” family, peers, church congregation, and/or partner. They could even be living under the same roof.
Can you see the faces behind the masks?

Yeah, I agree with your post. I think it's hard to see behind the mask of so many people because we are all wrapped up in the same facade. You have to be willing to come clean with yourself and forgive yourself before you can see others clearly, I think. :)
