So, I used to believe that Barack Obama was not going to win in the upcoming presidential election; that a White woman or even a Hispanic/Latino American would win before an African American would become president. I would learn that in the case of Obama versus Clinton, sexism triumphs racism, and I am proven wrong.
Yesterday at my internship, I discovered that Obama was front page news for Time magazine, along with every other magazine, which read: And The Winner* Is… *Really, we’re pretty sure this time. And today I have begun to believe. I’m beginning to believe that Barack Obama will be the first African American president, but it’s a scary thought. It’s scary because I am afraid of what this country will do to him physically, mentally, and or morally.
I went to dinner with my God family and I asked my God-mother how she felt about the election. She told me that Obama was going to win. She began to explain to me how several years ago a White colleague told her that the U.S. economy was going to face a crisis and that she should move to Europe. He said that Europe contained strong forces within the government that even U.S. officials could not match. Now we know that together EU and US forces are the world’s strongest countries, but alone Europe seems to be a power that will prevail over the United States. There’s even a book that talks about it: The United States of Europe: The New Superpower and the End of American Supremacy by T.R. Reid. But what stood out about what she said he told her, was that America was becoming a Black country with the increasing diversification of races. That America is no longer being seen as a country of power – symbolically a White older male - but would soon be known as a Black power (people of color being in control), and soon countries would recoil their alliances with the United Sates. Thus, while in the hands of a person of color, the Unites States shall plummet, and white countries shall rise.
So ultimately, it makes sense that Barack Obama would win, because he is fulfilling the ‘conspiracy’ of the powers that be. It is a perfect time for an African American person to run this country, everything is wrong and as he fulfills this position we can all blame him for our circumstances. If we think about it, the Unites States is experiencing a rough time, possibly even a time of crisis, and the presidential candidate will soon step into a position where he will have to make difficult decisions for our country, and if he fails or if any other issues within our country goes wrong, the Black young man – Barack Obama - will be blamed and – Europe - our White older male counterpart, will succeed in becoming a country of higher power.
Hmmmmm….I’m just saying, give it some thought. Now I’m not saying that Obama cannot alleviate some, if not all the issues, what I’m saying is that this idea holds some truth, in that we are experiencing trying times that we will one day have to blame someone for, besides Bush.
This stuff is deep and I’m beginning to believe that what this man, "THE MAN"...lol ...said was true. But I’m going to vote for Obama because I think he is the best option for the position and I hope that he will instill hope in the minds of all Americans for a better future for the United States of America.
What’s the reality?...All of our Black leaders in some way or another have been corrupted by White forces. Lets “HOPE” they don’t succeed with Obama.

interesting! great food for thought!!!
yea we live in strange times...its scary (mccain) but promising (obama) to think what the country will look like in a few months.
mos def said it best..."when shit is bad, they always give it to the black man..." maybe his comment is stemming from the conspiracy you listed in this post.
either way i think it is naive for us (America) to think that my main man Barrack will fix the countries problems in 4-8yrs...today's problems have been in the making for more than 390+ yrs...
who would have thought the possibility of a African-American running for president of the US of A??? who would have thought about this possiblility (on a national scale) 5 yrs ago?
I 1st heard of barrack in the summer of 2004, from a friend of mine...ironically we were in the SPGRE program together that summer. I remember him mentioning that he BELIEVES Barrack Obama could be the 1st black president...everyone looked at him and laughed...he now helps runs obama's campaign.
well, i believe now too.
