back down memory lane

What I love about music and pictures are the memories captured through words and moments in time; times that were both once good and bad, but definitely good enough to remember. Friends, family, flings…. the moments shared always brings me back…back down memory lane. The best part is seeing those who once or still hold a special place in your heart, the moments you shared, the what ifs…damn. Its like when your in that moment and it feels soo good, soo good, like being intoxicated with happiness and everything is perfect, you hope for one second that God doesn’t take it away from you; that perhaps He’ll even add an extra second to life so that that moment can be shared moments longer. Long enough to remember, yet short enough to never once embrace again. And then you look up the next moment and there you are…back down memory lane…listening to that song that played, browsing over those photos you took, wishing once again...that God will extend that moment once more, only to feel how you felt then at that moment; intoxicated with happiness.
